Book 14 is The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. I loved this book. Read it in just two days. I was fully engaged, I did not want to put it down. This mystery/thriller is my book published in this year (released on January 13, 2015) in the PopSugar Reading Challenge.
This book was featured in a Goodreads article on
“It” books of spring that was posted on Facebook. I read the preview on Amazon and then immediately got the Kindle version.
The book has three narrators: Rachel, Anna and Megan. They are all unreliable, they lie, they are selfish, and they make stuff up. But I was gripped. The blurb that promotes the book likens it to Gillian Flynn’s Girl Gone and The Rear Window by Cornell Woolrich. Enjoyed both books!
The Girl on the Train is fast paced, messy, creepy, voyeurism and filled with unlikable characters but it holds the reader until the very end.
